While I can’t necessarily put into words what it means when that final bell rings on the last day of the school year, I think this commercial best sums it up.
The female teacher in the passenger seat cracks. me. up. Summer has begun, people, and I’m ready to do laundry on a regular basis, cook meals for my family again, and spray paint something from a consignment store! Who’s with me??

I am right there with you! My year ends on June 21st and I can not wait. In the summer I drive 20 extra minutes to a grocery store in another town just to get a break from seeing the students, I do love them but . . .
